As in most states, people from Alabama can't stop discussing about racing and football. What makes this one different, however, is the amazing heritage. Alabama is the birth place of Hank William Sr., one of the greatest musicians in the entire world, as well as the fantastic coach Paul Bryant. One of the most impressive American freedom stories was also born here, with the famous episode when a black woman was arrested for refusing to give up her seat to a white person in a bus.
It could therefore be said that Alabama played a crucial role in the nation's fight for civil rights and all the efforts of the locals were eventually rewarded with a triumph. From a visitor's perspective, Alabama has a varied landscape, a delight for every visitor. Antebellum architecture and monuments presenting the constant fights for civil rights are also not to be missed on every visit.
