Logitech Releases New Video Security System
The world leading company in digital technology, Logitech, has announced the release of the brand new Alert 750n Indoor Master System this month. This brand new invention is a complete video security system that promises to keep your home safer. Some of the features Logitech prides with are ease of installation, clear night vision and a powerful software that facilitates remote viewing of the webcam from anywhere via the Internet. In this way users could feel safer and make sure their loved ones are safe as well.
For those looking for extra security an add-on camera was also created and chances are it will be distributed with this system. The standalone model could also be used separately, like a regular webcam if connected via a USB port to any machine. Representatives of Logitech also announced the use of a special system known as HomePlug® networking, which will facilitate the installation for any user. The revolutionary aspect, however, is the fact that there is no need for wires or outlets for connecting your camera to the Internet and using it remotely.
As for the video quality, the resolution promised by the manufacturer is 960 x 720, with at least 15 frames per second and an impressive wide-angle of no less than 130 degrees. The powerful night vision is also a new addition to the company’s products and will make it possible to obtain clear images even during the night, making any object clearer. The tests carried out by Logitech revealed that in complete darkness the range of the camera is 50 feet.
General manager of digital video security, James Lopez, said the brand new product of the company represents an absolute premiere in the field. He also mentioned that the special camera included in this product covers twice the viewing area of any other regular webcam, even in the poorest conditions such as complete darkness. The motion-triggered recording feature is not something new, but the 750n Indoor Master System comes with a great improvement, being able to send instant notifications to the user’s mobile phone or email address whenever something suspicious is detected.
According to the same source, all the recordings will be saved on a microSD memory card. This is not unusual, but what makes this system special is that the card can back up automatically if the system is connected to a running computer. At the same time, the Alert Commander software will enable users to login securely and enjoy their camera feed live even via their mobile phones.
The two products, Logitech Alert 700n Add-On Camera and Logitech Alert 750n Indoor Master System will be released in Europe and US at first. The suggested retail price is $299.99 for the complete master system and $229.99 for the additional webcam.
Logitech is an uncontestable world leader when it comes to products designed for connecting people via the Internet and improving their video experience. The company also covers other entertainment and communication platforms and is also known for producing software of the highest quality.
